Miranda Joy Ten Pas

Here are some precious pictures of my new baby niece Miranda Joy that I had the priviledge of taking when she was just six weeks old! Randy & Kristi came from Iowa with the girls and we had the most wonderful week! Everyone was sad to see them go. I didn't have time to scrapbook these yet but wanted to share because I am thrilled with how good they turned out!

I was blessed to be able to go along on Taylors field trip to Post Point this year. It was so amazing and I was so glad that we live on the west coast! Taylors grade went while they were studying a tide pool unit. We saw so many wonderful forms of sea life!

So often I have a hard time being grateful for all the laundry that I wash, fold, and put away. As a mom there is always so much work to do and I feel like I never get done with it. One day I took a picture of my laundry just to document the way I spend so much of my time. Taylor popped into the pictures and I was instantly reminded that I should be grateful that God has given me all this laundry to fold....Thank you God for my family!

A break from rain

Finally getting outside was such a priviledge! Glad for a break from the rains! These pictures were taken on April 5.

A new technique

I am getting a bit more brave in experimenting with new techniques. On the main photo I burned the edges. I also burned some of the embellishments into the paper and changed the color of the "remember this" sticker. On the small photo I applied a soft light to the picture and feathered the edges with the marquee tool to make it blend into the background paper. This is a good way for me to remember Micah's favorite way to use the swing....love the emotions this evokes!

Milk Makers Fest

I got to go with Hailey to Milk Makers Fest in the beginning of April. It was freezing cold but we had such a good time together. She loved having me all to herself and I really enjoyed spending the time with her too!

Sadie

She's here! Our sweet new puppy Sadie has made quite an impression on our family already. We all adore her and she is such a good dog! A great addition to our family!
