Micah turns 6

Okay so these pictures are all backwards....so here's his day in review....it ended with a magnificent sunset!

The cake had an accident...oops! Owen still thought it tasted good though!

Micah loved opening his presents....we gave him a Leapster which he has been asking for since he played with a friends at Tulip time!

We had a pool party at Heidi and Andy's....

My Hubby truly is in the air this high...this was no photography trick...I just wish I'd had the camera turned the other way!

Heidi & Andy had a fun little motorized bumper car that the kids enjoyed playing in all afternoon!

Mr. Cool who is now swimming almost well enough to not need a life jacket (as long as mom or dad is close by)!

Papa, Nana, and Owen came all the way from Lynden to help us celebrate Micah's 6th birthday in Wenatchee.

Micah's food requests....I promise I don't normally feed him like this....but...

For Breakfast: Cinnamon rolls

For Lunch: Pizza

For Dinner: Corn Dogs, French Fries, Blueberries, and Raspberries (We made the adults a separate dinner...steak, salad, and chicken kabobs)

He saw balloons at Safeway and of course we had to get him some to match his John Deere themed party!

Playing in the tent...Tay actually slept out there by herself one night!

Reading....3 chapter books....Mom, can we go buy some more? No chance kiddo....I don't have a big enough book case to store all those books!

Playing games...this trip it was Tennis...I could definetely get into this sport...anyone want to join me?

Riding bicycles

Swimming in the river...it was great until I found leeches all over my feet....gross....so off to Heidi's we went...warmer water...comfy chairs....great conversation....babies (for Hailey to play with).....and NO LEECHES!

Craft time...we made sand art creatures one day!

Desert Canyon

The Myhre family happened to be on vacation on the Eastside at the same time as us so we got together a day to play in the pool, share a meal, and the boys went golfing. Great memories...they are such a nice family!

A girls morning

Heidi and I enjoyed a day just the two of us...in Wenatchee...we went shopping, got pedicures, and went out for lunch. Seriously....we couldn't fit one more thing in her car! It was packed! What a great time we had. It reminded me of when we were little. We would work out at Hi Hoe for the morning and then our parents would drop us off downtown and we would walk around shopping...I can't believe they let us do that but I guess it was a different world back then!

Camping at the KOA

Camping at the KOA with friends....beautiful weather this year and lots of fun...we went on the paddle boats, made masks, had a parade, roasted smores, caught fish, So great and a good way to start off our yearly family camping trip!

Northwest Washington Fair

It was a great day at the fair...Jeff was in Chicago for some stressful business meetings but we had a stress free carefree day at the fair! Mom treated us to all the fun...admission, rides, those dutch donut things, cotton candy, ice cream cones...dad even came and brought the boys to the demolition derby. It was a great day! Thanks mom for always doing that for us....as you can see she was having as much fun on the rides as them!

Can we go to the derby now papa??? Jumping up and down excited little boys...what you can't see is the two moms biting their fingernails hoping that papa doesn't lose those two crazy boys on his way into the grand stand!
