Yahoo! So to celebrate we headed to Wenatchee camp a few days and visit with Heidi & Andy. The girls are getting so big now and I can hardly believe how much they have changed in the past month! We set up camp at Wenatchee Confluence, a beautiful state campground! It was 92 degrees when we arrived and we were very grateful to be in the trailer which had air conditioning! Sadie traveled well and didn't get motion sick at all this time! We love to go camping as a family. I picked up a few crafts for the kids to do while we were gone. One was this paint by number poster that I thought would be really fun. Taylor loved it! It was so detailed and both Hailey and I lost interest very quickly. We rode our bicycles and played in the pool at Heidi and Andy's....Hailey was more interested in the babies most of the time :-)!!!! Jeff even rode his bicycle along the 13 mile city trail a couple of times. We played games...Domino's, Zooreka, Farming Game, Skipbo, Uno....you name it! We "swam" in the Columbia river (only Taylor and Sadie were daring enough to become entirely submersed in this freezing cold water). We ran through the sprinklers, read books, and made water balloons. Secretly, this is my favorite kind of camping...just the 5 of us. It is such great quality time and there is never anything else to do but spend time together. We are going back in August to spend a week at this same park. One day Micah showed up at the door with this beautiful red rose for his mama. He "found" it while biking with Jeff. A lady was getting rid of this bouquet before she left with her husband in their huge motorhome. Micah thought this would be the perfect little surprise for me! Ha-so sweet!!!! Precious memories! We had another flat tire on the way home just past Leavenworth. By this time Jeff has become quite the expert and has learned how to do these things very quickly! This was the best start to summer break we have ever had! Happy Summer!
