Yep...Jeff caved and we got to take a chick home from Haileys classroom (they hatched them as a science project in her class). Well....chicks apparently don't like to be alone so we went to the coop to buy a couple more...3 to be exact. They poop all the time but I gotta hand it to them they are pretty stinkin' cute. The kids love to play with them especially when it is warm outside. Sadie is quite curious but she hasn't snapped at them yet...good dog! This has reminded me of when we got chicks as kids and raised them. We always had a dozen or so chickens....raised them to eat and for their eggs. I thought they were my pets and had names for each one...ha! Now my kids have done the same....

Hailey with Starlight Sunshine and Flappers Cloudy...yes those are middle names...a girl after my own heart :-)
Taylor and fudge.....Fudge didn't get a name for a week or so because Taylor wanted to pick just the right one.
So much fun! But they will be going to a new home in the country very soon....they are starting to smell up the garage and their box is getting too small. Oh well. It has been fun while it lasted!
